Creating a Qualified Infrastructure
Enabling all children and young people to participate in and have access to theatre services and activities is a central goal of BAG Spiel & Theater and its members.
BAG Spiel & Theater offers theatre education professionals a range of opportunities to exchange experiences, obtain qualifications and take part in networking at a national and international level. Specialist conferences, courses, meeting programmes, long-term visits to institutions and pilot projects on current themes all take place regularly.
In fulfilling its guiding and stimulus function as a structure active across Germany, BAG Spiel & Theater incorporates results and insights from its work into comparative discussions, gives impetus to academic study and develops models to implement academic findings in cultural education. The association thus makes an important contribution to quality control and the further development of the structures and concepts of cultural education and work with children and young people.
